Good guns, pretty good triggers, not as easy to dis-assemble like a Glock or 1911 but thats about the only gripe I had with them.

Dawson Presision makes a great set of adjustable sights if you need them

I had one of the compacts. was a good gun, wife didnt like shooting it to much and it was to small for my hands. other than that it shot nice for what it was. cant beat the price also.

I have the 45 acp tac mod and I really like it bunches. It's my "house gun" now. It has been very easy to adapt to. I ain't got no complaints so far.

I have the 45 service model. It seems to be a really good design with a pretty decent trigger.

i had one of the 9mm service...

i think they are great guns. very reliable, bery accurate, pretty simple. i didnt like the trigger(fixable) i didnt like the sights(also fixable). i have 2 other service sized 9mm's so i saw no need in keeping that one.

i think that new shooters should try out 3 guns for the first purchase.
xd
glock
smith m&p

one of those 3 will fit and work out well for 90+%
