Seems i'm loading faster that I could shoot, I have a surplus of 5k 9mm, 1200 or so .38, and about 1500 .223. Who's got 50K lying around?

without counting i'd guess 30-35k. at the end of fall it'll be a lot less, i load all my ammo to compete with over the winter so i can shoot all spring, summer, and fall.

Had +50k of rimfire stocked up a couple years ago, but since have lowered it to less than half of that.

Centerfire, I imagine I have about 500-1000 total spread over several calibers..

Around 600 9mm, 100 38 spcl and 500 223.

My main shooting staple is 40 S&W, and I like to have 500-1500 loaded around. When I get a recipe I really like, I extend it towards the 1500 mark. When I'm dinking around with a new bullet or combination, I don't keep as many loaded up.

I'm usually sittin' on top of 12-15k of most available cal.s', depending on the season and such.

very few that are actually assembled. Less that 2-300 per caliber unless I intend to go blasting.

That may change if I decide to switch calibers on the 1050

I like to keep bout 500 loaded of each caliber at a time. one it cuts down on storeing them and two i like to change loads every once in a while.

I don't keep alot; i shoot about the same rate as I acquire. Not counting rimfire, I'd say the most I ever have on hand is ~500 FMJ range rounds and ~75 JHP (half of which permanently live in their magazines).

I try to keep about 2,000 .45 Auto, 500 38 spcl, 250 ea of 7mm RM, .204 Rug, 22-250, 45-70 (Soon to add 500 S&W to this group).

Lately, my son is making it difficult to keep my desired level on .45 & 38 spcl (good problem). :seeya:

Usually between 2-500 each of 9mm and .40 which are the calibers I shoot for USPSA matchs. I shoot a match almost every weekend, so I usually just load up 1.5 times what I think I'll need for the match the week before. 50-100 for the rest of the stuff I shoot between matchs (.38 special, .357 magnum, .44 magnum, 357 sig, .270 winchester)

I keep around 500 each for my 9mm, .40sw and .45 auto and around 200 for 38spl and 45 Colt.

On hand right now:

30-06-- 400
.308-- 800
5.56-- 3500
10mm-- 1500
.40-- 4000
9mm-- 3000
.44-- 500

So maybe 15k loaded rounds.. components on hand to make another 10k easily.

At 50M it looks like the place is empty. There may well be another 100M cases awaiting their appointed rendezvous with destiny.

My stock has gone down quite a bit. Not shooting as much.

I have several hundred of 10mm, 45, 223, and 357 Mag. A hundred or less of 45/70, 375 Holland, 32 H&R, and 256 Win. I have about 20rds of 20ga loaded.

My stock is down pretty far since the kiddo came along. I probably have about 2k .45 and only a few hundred .223. I still have some 9mm that I made years ago. Not sure how much.

You can count the number? Then you don't have enough. 9mm-two 5-gallon buckets loaded, plus a few 50 cal ammo cans. 45ACP-one 5-gallon bucket loaded, plus a couple of 30 cal cans. 223-one 20mm can loaded, 10 gallons of empty brass, waiting for bullets. 38 spl-one 5-gallon bucket loaded, two-5-gallon buckets empty brass, just gotta finish loading more 45ACP before I change the 1050 over. 308- two 50 cal cans loaded, one of empty brass (expensive bullets!)
I think working at Dillon for so long has skewed my perspective of how much loaded ammo is enough, plus a few NFA firearms to feed.:yikes:

Depends on whether there's a brass-stacking contest going on.

Koski had a good plan he mentioned once before of having all the components ready to load, but keepin' them unloaded in case he decides to change his recipie to something better/different etc. Seems like a good idea, if I could find a balance between stcked stuff and ready to load stuff I'd be happy. Well, I'm pretty happy right now I suppose.

I don't keep that many loaded rounds. Right now in .40 I have about 500 of my USPSA production load, a couple hundred major loads for limited.

About 300 various .45 ACP loads.

I only have about 100 left of .223 after sneaking off to the range this morning. I need to get crankin' to restock.

.40 is my highest volume caliber, so I keep components for several thousand rounds. I never know which loads I will need due to switching between divisions.

Maybe 1000 9mm, 1300 of 45acp, 1100 of 38 super, 800 of 40sw, 7500 .22 rimfire. 50 .223

I have components to load about 50K with no probelms.

I have about 6,500 9mm loaded, but it's going fast! I will probably load at least 1,000 this Saturday.
