I need to get a powder measurer assembly, a #1 brass button for the caliber conversion, and a .45 powder funnel. This is a work in progress but since I have very little money into it so far I am way head of the game.

I stole it from you, so I'm gonna need that money back. :dita: backatcha

In all seriousness, it was a good deal and now I just need to get my bench built and get something other than brass.

When you get tired of advancing by hand & want 5 stations, you can probably sell that "piece of junk" for enough to get the LnL you originally wanted.

Just kidding :). Congrats on a sweet piece of machinery. Now get busy turning out ammo!

Like Freak mentioned, you might want to send it to Dillon & have them refurb/tune it up for you. :seeya:

And the BKK-Borg collective continues to assimilate!-resistance is FUTILE:blues:

It looks quite clean. I can see it is missing the knurled cap, low primer alarm, primer magazine and powder measure w/return rod. If you didn't get a manual you can download one from www.dillonprecision.com (http://www.dillonprecision.com) , or else drop me a PM and I can mail a paper one to you.

I have a Lee Powder Scope you can use. Just drop it manually through that hole. No Biggie. :smilielol5:

I have the low primer sensor and all of the primer magazines, tubes and tips but didn't put them in the picture. It has the #1 shellplate in it and two of the three #1 locator buttons. It is very clean and smoooooth like butta. One question I did have is the probable age of it. The cast section is a little different than BIGGUNGOBOOM's and the linkage has c-clips on the pins instead of nuts like on his. If it is older than his it sure is in good shape overall because of being so smooth. A nice set of Bonanza .38/.357 dies came with it as well as two tool heads so if I pick up a .38/.357 caliber conversion kit and a set of .45 dies then I will be all set for both calibers in that department.

By having the e-clips, your 550B was made prior to 1996 or so. PM me your name & address, I will mail the missing locator pin to you. Is there a powder funnel inside the die at station 2? It would be a movable metal cylinder inside the die.:blues:
