Lar's quoted me $9.50/ ib in raw form, his base price is $13.50/ ib in sticks, you really don't save all that much $$$$$ vs. time casting it yourself.

With quantity discount, in stick form, it runs at $10.00/ib, I was hoping for a better break.

Probably not a big difference to him. The stuff is already melted, pour it in a mold or pour it in a flat rate box.

His lube is pretty inexpensive as it is. I cant imagine there is a whole lot of room to cut the price.

Beeswax alone is $5.00-$6.00/ib, throw in Carnauba and some lanolin, and you're probably close to $7.00-$8.00 just in material cost.

I would hope he is getting a better deal on some of the components, but yes it would be tough to make your own any cheaper.

I looked into it a few years ago, but as long as he's sellin that stuff its hard to beat.
