i want to get a NAA 22 magnum

Should i get the...
PUG
Black Widow
or the
Mini-Revolver

http://www.naaminis.com/index02.html

I plan to use it for grins and for pocket carry. For when I can not carry my Kahr P9 or my G20

If you could explain your reason I would apperciate it.

I was also thinking the Kel-Tec .32 acp. But the NAA seems like it is better made.

Get a 38spl/357 magnum for your first revolver. This is not the way to start your revolver collection. I suggest a Ruger SP101.

GET THE KEL TEC!!!

I've toured the NAA factory twice. Shot the guns several times. They're toys. I would NEVER pick one for defensive use if I had the P32 or (better yet) the P3AT as options.

I'm with Steve. I've shot my nephrew's KelTec 9mm and it's great. Small, light, and pretty darn accurate, all things considered.

get atleast a 38/357 revolver. anything smaller is a waist. look at Taurus,Ruger,S&W, and maybe even charter arms.

Why not just go Kahr PM9? Negligible size difference compared to the P3AT, chambered in 9mm.

SP-101 or S&W J-frame. Unless you can stick that little NAA in the BG's eye in a defensive situation, you will probably find out it is better as a thrown weapon.

Problem with revolvers with respect to carry is they're fat (and not left hand friendly for those of us who shoot properly).

Revolvers SUCK!

The P3AT blows all snubbies away. 1/2 as thick, 1/4 as heavy. 6+1 rounds of ground pounding, heart throbbing, earth shaking .380 ACP.

If you plan to carry the revolver for defensive use, a 38 Special is a minimum chambering--and one of the SP-101 variants would be a good move. If it's to be a strictly recreational firearm, a good 22 LR is cheap to run and very user-friendly.

people who don't shoot revolvers suck. get a rugersp101 or s&w j frame for CCW.

Another vote here for a S&W J frame .38Spl snubbie, if you're for real, when talking about a revolver for pocket carry.

Yuh , wheel guns ,you only have six rounds , .357 mag packs a good punch . Not many can hit something in six shots , with some brisk recoil . Thats why there is only a small group of these gunslingers .

.38 / 357 mag 686 or an old python . If you cast , .38 is cheaper than .22 to shoot.

.22 caliber revolvers are fun, flexible (as can shoot 22 shorts, 22 rimfire, shot shell loads, any boolit configuration) and can be had up to a 9-10 shot gun.
If ya' want the itty bitty one I'd say go for it, but also get a 4" Taurus mod 94 for cheap and I can give real easy pointer's on slickin' up the action if desire.
I love S&W revolvers, but if you want a 7 shot 38 spec/357 mag, Taurus Trackers are real strong in lock up, and easy to slick the action up, and ain't too hash on the wallet.

I vote for a S&W .38 Special J-frame. Plentiful and reasonably priced - at least in my area.:)

+ a billion on a j frame .38......I would prefer to get a prelock...with a pocket holster...get a set of Hogue grips that will give your pinky finger some support for more control and you will have a pleasant experience....

I won a NAA mini revolver at the 2007 IRC. With the 1 1/8" barrel, 22 mags chrono at 996 fps. A late friend of mine shot a mugger in the belly at 3' distance. Mugger put his knife away, looked him in the eye and said"some days it just dont pay ro get out of bed". I keep mine in my briefcase loaded with shot loads in case another rattlesnake gets into the lunch patio. lots of fun to shoot tho.
I recommend a S&W or Ruger medium frame in 357 for a first revolver. more versatile.

Do they have a "no carry" policy at Dillon?

Our policy is that you may carry after being employed here for one year, and have either a CCW, FFL or SOT.

Our policy is that you may carry after being employed here for one year, and have either a CCW, FFL or SOT.

Why a year? That's as arbitrary as the barrel length requirement under the NFA.

Further, what does having an FFL or SOT have to do with carrying a firearm? An FFL is a license to engage in business under 18 USC Chapter 44 and an SOT is a special tax paid to import, manufacture or deal in NFA firearms, under 26 USC Chapter 53, neither of which permit a licensee or taxpayer to carry a firearm. It is a states right issue as to how carry is regulated, if at all.

I fail to see any logic in this policy.

Maybe studies have shown that Dillon employees who "go postal" typically do so within the first year.
