last weekend on march. i'll bet i'm the only one here going. my first big match of the year.

It was a fire drill for 2 years running and gas is Expensive.

without a doubt your right jim. i'm taking a more relaxed approch to it this year. i'm shooting the g29 saturday and the .40 and 9mm sunday. also not going to make the drive in one day so there won't be so much pressure on me to get there or get home.

Here is comes the first match of a new season. Who's ready?:sifone: It is starting to look like a great new season. Once the Star-Ship comes out of space dock repairs and upgrades, She has her first shake down crewz. If everthing holds together it will be a great start of a new season. Time will tell. :supergrin:

How did you fair this weekend. I think my Am civ was the "weakest link." 71.~something. Let me know where you ended up. The other times were better but had a bit of trouble remembering to watch the front sight...:subgun:

phil said 70 something in amciv so he did pretty good but not going to win the match. i had a good weekend even considering i KBed the 10mm, borrowed a g26 and ammo to shoot sub. shot the M and on the last string shot 3 paper, shot the steel heard it ring and saw it move, moved to the last paper shot it, dropped the mag, cleared the gun put it away and was talking with the RO. Don came up and ask why i never knocked the last popper over. talk about a stupid move. you could see at the edge of it where i hit it but not well enough to knock it over. dwight parker shot 2 poppers on one string so i'm not the only bone headed shooter there. turned down going to dinner with the gunny on glocks dime. that might of been a stupid move on my part as well.
