I sent in my AR-15 stock trigger to Bill Springfield.
For $49 he takes a stock trigger down to a crisp 3 pound break. 1 week turn around time from my mailbox, back to my mailbox.
It does use the stock trigger components, so we'll see how they hold up. Supposedly the newer components hold up over time, I've read some are up to 10K rounds. There was some black stuff where he did his work, I'm not sure if it was paint or surface hardener. We'll have to see over time.
The trigger job is great. Very crisp break and very light. There is a very slight amount of creep. It is hardly noticeable and taken up when you place your finger on the trigger.
I'm very happy with it and I didn't have to spend $150-200 on an expensive after market trigger. With all the new ARs you guys are going to have, I thought this might help someone.
He does other guns too:
