Just got an e-mail notification that Precision Bullets has shipped my order of .45 200gr FP's. Should get em middle of next week.

As I understand, the dry lube applied to the outside of the bullets keeps lead fouling way down.

First time using these. Anybody else use em? Like em? Hate em?

EDIT: I misspelled Precision in the title - how ironic.

Have they got their orders caught back up?
I was going to order some week before last, but it looked like it would take @4-6 weeks to get'em. Alot of people were waiting for their orders.

I haven't used them, but I haven't heard anything negative about them.

I've shot a couple thousand of thier 185 gr .40 bullets over VV-320. I found them to be accurate and consistent. You'll want to use a light crimp or it will cut through the coating. Only time I had them lead on me was when I overcrimped. The coating does leave a residue in the barrel but it cleaned out relatively easily.

SG.

slowride: I ordered mine about 5 weeks ago, they quoted me 4-6 weeks. I guess they aren't caught up, but there time estimate is accurate. Seems like everyone is behind these days.

SnooseGoose: Thank you for the crimping tip

They rotate production in caliber batch's. So 9mm is back ordered about 5 weeks now but they are shipping 45 stuff. Then they will do 40 and then 9mm, or something like that.
