Cops show-up to take a report. Momma gets loud. Momma attempts to put her hands on the cop. Cops shoves her to the ground. It is noteworthy that momma has a recent history of violence... assault charges and a restraining order.

yeah i seen that but the police around here tend to be a little agressive to people. So i can see either side of this story

Whats the problem here? That looks like a perfect in policy use of force. The police were called there for a reason, which gives them the right to enter that yard. Depending what kinda call it is they have the right to enter the house(no search warrant). The lady appeared to aggresively approched, and appeared to put hands on one of the officers. The officer acted accordingly and created distance between himself and the aggressor. The lady fell on her ass, it happens.
People want the police to protect them but they don't wanna see how that's done. There is no such thing as a pretty use of force, it all looks bad on camera. The officers did what they had to do to gain control of that situation. As you can see additional family members ran up and joined in the scuffle. That could of turned out alot worse.
I'm not saying that poliice brutality does'nt exist, because it does. However it happens all lot less that people think.

Sorry, I can't see her side having a scrap of credibility. I am totally against police abusing their power. You try to touch a cop while he is performing his duties, you should be taken down. He can let you up if your innocent after the fact. If you complain, he should have just frigging arrested you.
I wish there was sound. I'm betting those folks weren't exactly being cooperative or polite. They were probably drunk too.

Same kind of people that think a cop using a taser on someone is overkill, or shooting someone that points a gun at them. Don't tase me bro!
Cops should learn the Mr. Spock hold.

Cops should learn the Mr. Spock hold.
They taught that at my academy, but I had to repeat sensitivity training--and missed that block of instruction.
