I am wondering about this thing, as I have a good amount of brass to process. (LC stuff) Is it worth the money, or is it better to get something else that is not as expensive. The only catch is that I intend to process 2,000 plus and then keep processing LC brass...
what say you?

You gonna' do that many and keep on, I say absolutely go for it. I finally broke down and bought one and I've only processed maybe 1,000 on it so far, but it is a great tool.

Go for it. Good tools always pay for themselves. :)

No. Go to the hardware store, buy a 82* counter sink for $5, chuck it in the drill and have at it. It's even faster than the Dillon.

hmm...is it easy to break anything on that Dillon 600?

I read about a guy bending or breaking something on there, but I cannot see for the life of me how he couild. I suppose if someone was hamhanded enough to need a Dillon press instead of a LoadMaster, he might be prone not to read the instructions and might possibly break something then.
But I still don't see how.
Read the directions. All will be well.
MMAP99 - I really get what you're saying. I have tried removing the crimp using various cutting tools. I'm just not consistent with them. Some a little deeper than I wanted, some I had to go back and hit again. The beauty of the Dillon tool - for me - is its consistency.

To each their own. Different strokes for different folks. At the end of the day it all works.

I thought he was joking. You know CRB and all.

If you have a lot it is well worth it. If you screw the rod out too far it well bend. His falt not the swager. Leverage wins out just about every time.

The RCBS swager works great. Swagged @ 10K cases to date.

Great tool and worth every penny!
I've swaged ~10K 5.56 cases with mine, and probably another 5K 9mm.
Now I've ran into a bunch of .38 SPL cases that are crimped. LC 78 probably 1000 or so.
I wouldn't be without it. I sit in my recliner and swage during TV time with it.

I will let you know when mine gets here.
I expect it will be here on monday. I have so much brass to swage. Oh I can not wait.

It's a money maker. I've swaged thousands and thousands of military brass with mine. Great investment.

Anybody got an idea on the physical dimensions?
I have a small desk, so cramming all of the reloading stuff onto it is a little tight.
