I sent my brother one of these, and he says the new connector makes the slide cycling feel a bit stiffer when the connector bends over.
Anybody heard of this?
Hey, that's post 44,444! Isn't that the number of the devil?

You have relatives that will admit to it?
doesn't the sldie cycle when a round is fired? he should keep his hands clear of the moving sldie.

Yeah yeah yeah. If you rack it quickly or shoot the gun you can't tell. He can just tell when he cycles it slowly.
You guys are merciless!
Should I tell him to "Get over it!"

When you say, "get over it", do you mean being related to you or the gun thing? I think he'll get over the gun thing much easier.

There were a number of reports of "slide drag" with some of the earlier models of their connector, Steve. I think the current one is pretty well free of it though and FWIW, is far and away my favorite. Give JR a phone call and tell him about it, he'll probably just send you out a replacement. I've put the new ones in at least 10 different Glocks and no issues whatsoever.

Don at LWD told me to call Dave at glockparts.com (where I ordered the connector) and tell him what's going on. Damn. I was hoping LWD would just send me one.

I've installed them on 5 Glocks now, and haven't had any issues. I've even polished them up further and haven't had any issues.
JR is good, he'll probably replace it.

It scares me how inconsistent LWD seems to be. Some stuff is great and some stuff is crap. I personally won't buy from them for this reason.

I bought the Glock connector. It comes pretty rough, but polishes up pretty.

Agree with ISUSteve. I helped a buddy do a trigger job on his and we used the Glock connector. It took a bit more, but it polished up just fine.

I like my G34 stock 4.5 connector better than the LW 3.5.
They do come lookin nasty, but Flitz and me Dremel fixed that real quick like.

I installed the LWD 3.5 connector in my Glock 23 duty gun that already had a NY1 trigger spring. I liked the setup so much I intalled a NY1 trigger in my 3.5 factory equipted model 34 competition gun. IMHO, a smoother trigger pull and snappier reset.

I have a LW connector in the only one of my Glocks that came from from the factory with a 4.5 pound connector -- my G34. For some reason, the stock connector in the G34 wasn't as nice as the Glock 4.5 pounders that I normally install in my Glocks. The LW connector works well in the G34.
On the other hand, I installed a second LW connector in another Glock and did not like the results at all! A factory 4.5 pound connector was quickly reinstalled in that pistol.

By reading your post I gather you can't believe Koski has any relatives that will admit to it either.

Did Koski claim to have relatives? I was all wrapped up in the connector thing and didn't notice that part.

I'm pretty sure BP's asian girlfriend is a photograph or an online contact he's never really met. He keeps talking about eating asian food. Maybe he goes out for Chinese food in her honor.
