While I was setting everything up I saw some guys riding out behind me, and when I was getting ready to shoot I noticed them with a truck about 500 yards away, so being naturally curious I took a look with my binocs and saw it was a Ranger. I emptied one mag at the steel plates, quickly reloaded and fired off another 13 rounds. Looking over my shoulder I noticed the Ranger was on his way.
When he pulled up to my truck I took off my ears and exchanged greetings. He asked what I was shooting and informed me of the guys out riding. Anyhoo, I guess I looked OK and he said have a nice day and took off, short and sweet.
For some reason that particular Ranger impressed me as being as totally professional and prepared.
Anyway on to the shooting. Originally I was planning only on taking my 9mm pistols, but the LW Commander and Officers LW made their way into the range bag. I wanted to shoot up some loose 45 rounds that were starting to accumulate in the range bags and cargo compartment of the truck.
Here's the 9's I brought out.

And here's the first target I shot, 25 yards sitting resting the pistol on my knee.

And the second five shots.

I haven't shot the P7's in a long time and it seemed like I wasn't shooting them as well as I had before.
I shot some more targets and the steel and then put up a final target and called it a day, it gets cold fast as the sun starts to set.
Final target.

On the way home the sun was setting and was a nice finish for the day.Patrick
