Got my shipment of precision bullets in today. Looking around, I can't find load data.

I can start working up a load based on cast 200 gr., but need an OAL for the Flat Round Nose 200 gr. as seen here under products tab:

http://www.precisionbullets.com/

I am gonna put some 231 under them. Anyone have some OAL onfo?

Thanks in advance.

Name: Titegroup 200 M 001
Powder: Hogdon Titegroup
Bullet: Precision Bullets 200 grain RNF
Brass: Mixed Range Brass
Primer: Federal 150 Match
Charge: 4.5
C.O.L.: 1.250-1.265

Notes:

7/29/06-- First loading of Precision Bullets.
1.263 chambers in both weapons.

7/30/06-- This load works in both weapons, but is not as accurate as the SWC.
-----------
9/14/06-- Duplicated for Match primers. Loaded 200 rounds for accuracy testing. Test fired 100 rounds in Old Milspec off soft dive weights. The main hole measured 4-3/4” top to bottom, and the outliers were at 6-3/4” Disappointed with accuracy.

10/31/06-- Because my testing protocol has changed, this load is still in accuacy testing.

That first OAL of 1.250 - 1.265 is very sticky in my chamber. 1.225 feels good in the chamber, any problem trying those out with a very light powder (4.8-5.0) charge in your opinion?

I dunno-- my lengths are all out of manuals.

On a Dillon Square Deal, the crimp die is only accurate to within .007, so my lengths are all a range of 15 thousandths. I add the fifteen on top of the C.O.L. in a given manual.

Generally speaking, I don't know enough to screw around with specs. Sorry. :coolgleamA:

Well, I fine tuned my crimp and have a few OAL's of 1.240-1.245 that fit the chamber well, not tight, but still a bit sticky.

This is my first time with lead, maybe they are suppose to stick a little. Please correct me if I am wrong.

When turning th barrel up, the FMJs and JHP's just fall out from gravity. These lead rounds take a little shaking to fall out of the barrel. The rounds I loaded to 1.225 OAL fall right out to, but they may be to short.

Going to bed now, maybe someone will drop some knowledge whilst I sleep.
