Picked up my new G17 yesterday and took it to the range today. Put 100 rounds of store bought ammo thru it then fired 10 rounds that I loaded. Don't think I flinched toooo bad on the first one but all seemed to go well. Still have all my fingers. What a blast.

Yeah, I remember the cup and turn of my first .38spl loads. Those things were so light, they barely went through the paper...but man was I nervous!

Shot my first reloads in 1970. Since I followed a reloading manual and everything measured up ok went out and shot them. Never was scared or nervous, can't understand what all the apprehension is about. Was far more curious to see how much more accurate the reloads would be then the standard factory rounds had been (pre-64 Winchester 70, .270).
