Now you can shoot 50GI out of your G20 or G21. Price is a whopping $595 for a slide assebly and magazine, but it's a Glock 50.

Yup. Few places I've seen some. A search might turn some stuff up. I'm sure Lee will have some data in their die set. Which is cool because they are carbide and come with a FCD!!!

That is one round that has had me interested for quite some time. Of course it is nowhere near as powerful as the .50AE, but it's not meant to be. It is the .45ACP of the .50 crowd. I don't dig the stainless slide but I am sure something could be done there.

Oh yeah, one last thing, you can shoot lead through it!

I've seen this just earlier today (a link posted elsewhere) and I think its really expensive. The stainless slide makes it look a lot like my S&W Sigma!!

Neat, but $600 neat? Possibly.

Too bad it doesn't come in a 6" version. It would look very much like my updated G20/21L. For those of you who saw it in it's previous all black configuration, I got tired of it as a plain jane pistol and decided to model it after a typical USPSA Unlimited pistol configuration. Its just a range toy so I feel it was worth the update just to have some fun with it.

BTW, none of this was cheap. In fact, if someone says there is no such thing as a $2,000 Glock, tell them they are wrong because you are looking at one. Expensive but still a blast to shoot. In its 10mm configuration, I use it to shoot at steel plates at 214 yds unsupported with just a 2 handed grip.

Wow, the price sucks and I could buy a Sig P220 w/nickle accents for a few bucks more, and I really can't stand the HUGE company logo on the whole left side of the slide, otherwise I'd love to see some balistics data on the cartrige!! If it was a bit cheaper I might consider it...

But can you HIT those plates?

Yep, about 1/2 the time. We also have steel at 150 yds which is a breaze with a 10mm but challenging with 45acp. The 100 yd steel plate on our pistol course is almost boring to shoot at with my 10mm.

Don't think i could give up my 10mm, I like it too much and the .45 is cheaper to play with but it could be a reason buy another 21, or a 21SF and convert the 21

Steve, did you glass bead the slide on your 6" ?

Also, got to thank you again for the help & input while I was putting together the one I built. Now if that customer would only get the "gottahaves" for an AR or something, I might be able to talk him OUT of the longslide ! They seem to shoot incredibly well.

Damn!! If I get that chance to get a 10mm Glock...I'd definately pay to get a .50 cal Glock slide! That's just.........just.....the right thing to do!

What kind of sights are those on the Glock?

What's the bullet weight & speed outta something like that?

Magazine capacity must be like, five.

Still, it's an awsome idea. I bet the engraving on the side could be removed with some bondo & a refinishing. I bet glock could sell enough to justify the introduction of large caliber or magnum caliber pistols.

My thoughts too.

Looks like fun though. Maybe I'll get one, once I start finding 50 GI brass at the range.

For sights, looks like a Dawson FO front with a Bomar rear.
