Anyone know of a company that makes them? preferably in 165 to 180 grain.

A google search didn't offer up much info.

Side note, I spelled didn't right, didn't I? My spell checker doesn't like it.

Great, it doesn't like doesn't either.

Never seen a plated SWC's in 40. I think you're gonna have to go with cast bullets to get a SWC profile.

What gun are these SWC's for Rick?

I think the closest you will get for a plated bullet is a truncated cone. Lots of folks make those so it shouldn't be hard finding some ya like.

Have you ever seen a lead SWC in .40??? I agree with Monte, the Truncated cone is gonna be your best bet. Get a bunch of Rainier or Berrys and call it good.

I shoot .40 LSWC by the truckload through my Glock 35 with KKM barrel.
Mainly using Missouri Bullet these days as a shooting buddy lives a few miles from his shop. He delivers them to me when we meet up at USPSA matches.

I like jacketed or plated bullets to cut down on the smoke. But I like shooting the SWC's to get that big 'ol hole in the target. I think a plated one would be ideal for my application.
