The only experience I have with MR is with my 50 DEP...
...and it's Wicked Assume ED!!!!
I here there tech support is excellent also...
i looked at one saturday. i was wanting a remington 597 yellow jacket but my dealer hasn't got any yet. for the cost of the remington for a little more i can have the magnum research rifle and it sure looks to be a lot more rifle.

No, I think this is quite different. The one we saw was a factory ruger setup. This thing looks to be even more tricked out!

Anybody got a better picture of that Magnum Research setup? The one on the website is kinda small.

I have had nothing but OUT STANDING performance with every MR gun I have shot. their customer service is great and their guns are built very well. i dont think that you would have any issues, minus the possible picky ness of ammo.

I have took a good looking at the MR .22s and they seem well built. They appear to be a total knockoff of the 10/22 Magnum because you can get the MR in .17HMR and .22 Mag. One thing's for sure, they can't be any worse than a Remington 597!

I've looked them over and they seem very nice to me. From what I can tell, it's a Ruger clone (or nearly so) and accept Ruger mags. One of the guys at the indoor range where I shoot has the model with the Hogue "overmolded" stock on it and he says @ 50 yards with good ammo you can cover the group with a dime. Supposedly, the graphite barrel with the liner offers the same or better stiffness than an all-steel but whether true or not, the heft on these is nice. I see one in my future as well.
