They were a little softer than WW's and I didn't know what they were, so I only grabbed a few.Patrick

Who knows, Its "heavy" right?? I assume its some kind of lead.

If ya drop on concrete does it go "ting" or "thud"

Eat a little bit everyday. Check your lead levels once a week. If it comes back higher and higher, its probably lead.

Looks like it was used in some type of structure and was held together with the connectors which are rusted.

As far as alloy, if it's not as hard as WWs, I suggest mix it 50/50 with WWs and shoot in 45.

They were in the drum with the wheel weights, and I grabbed one and tapped on it with my knife, and the tip went in a little farther than on a WW.
Definitely some kind o' lead, just hope'n it aint radioactive or sumptin'.Patrick

Todays haul was 278lbs of wheel weights that I picked out o' the barrel mostly by myself. I was lookin' for the bigger weights so I'd get a bigger % of lead to junk.

There sure seemed to be alot of weights that was barely bigger than the clip they was attached to.

I'm just afraid of picking up and payin' for sumptin' that might be junk.Patrick

Oh yeah, I'm planning on melting all the mystery metal together, maybe with a little tin added, and shooting it through the 9mm's since they seem like they don't want to shoot as well as my revo's and Marlins.

I figger I do a lot of closer range shootin' with them any way, bein' my carry gun an' all.Patrick
