Primers...None
Brass...Nope
Bullets...Rare
Powder...Meh
Got a FA digital caliper on sale at Midway for 45% off. Paid like 13 bucks for it.
Good thing I have a bunch of (dare I say it) factory ammo.

I want to reload for:
.38 Special
9mm
10mm
.45ACP
.45 Colt to start, then possibly:
45/70
.308
Anyone got large pistol primers they want to sell?

Are primers that hard to get? One of my "local" stores still has them/powder/brass on the shelf.
Prices are a little high but they are there

Man I remember back in the day when you said you'd never reload. Do ya feel good pecking around on the ground for brass like a chicken does feed? Wait, you probably just buy a bunch of Starline and leave it laying. Got you a Dillon 550 yet?

I snagged some .223 (and .308 for Creo) off the ground this past Saturday. Had to fight the range officer for it though... he was cool about it, since I told him I asked real polite like the fellas who were shootin' it, and they agreed I could take it. :yesnod:

Naw, I just got in to it with Bush Pilot. I even made fun of his dog. I've publically apologized. You all took it so well i felt bad. I've picked up my brass ever since, especially the 10mm.
I've read/lurked here pretty much from it's conception. Look at my born-on date; today is, in fact, my birthday here. I still feel like an outsider so I don't say much.

Speaking of making fun of guys pecking for brass at the range.. I used to always rib my buddy for doin it.. (And neither of us even had a press at the time) But now that I got a press, I can hardly wait to get back to the range and do some CRB Brass collection!! :D

I hear what you're saying there Mick. I got BoltNut scrounging that brass now as well. The joy on his face is priceless when he scores a load of brass. Now if I can just get him to LOAD the brass my job will be complete.

A buddy from work belongs to a public range with brass galore on the ground. I suggested he take all he can get, let me clean it, and he can sell it to pay for his annual dues.
The thought of having to pay to shoot makes my skin crawl.

Blueline you're a lucky man. My only shoot for free range is no longer available to me. The guy who lives on the property is having to move. Maybe I'll have another connection soon. We'll see.

You have a free one any time you happen to visit North Georgia.

Don't you live on the outskirts of one of the biggest swamps in the whole Country? How it the World can there be no places to shoot in all of the Everglades?
creophus

Nope, Tampa's quite a bit north of the swamps. Even then there isn't a bunch of wide open space. Might find a way to fix that real soon though.
Rugby, my offer still stands if you need some brass. Just let me know.

I was thinking of joining one of the local ranges to give the neighbors a break from all the, uh, load development.
$120 a year!
I don't think it bothers them that much.

$120 is cheap around here.

$120 a year to have a nice place to shoot, scavenge brass, and do bermining is about what I was paying (I'm "between ranges" now with the upcoming move) and I felt it was a great deal. Just thinking of the lead, at the going $1/lb eBay rate even filling up a 1 liter soda bottle with bermine just once a month essentially pays for the club fees.

I reckon $120 wouldn't be too bad if the drive was short. Around here it takes me 45 minutes one-way to get to the public or private ranges.
My range is a far cry from nice but it only requires a short four wheeler/jeep ride to access.

I'm 7 miles from the gun club/outdoor range for $75 a year.
I also joined an indoor range for $100 a year with 24 hour access.
Since I don't have any place else to shoot I'm happy and I like both places.
