Anyone know "Buds Police Supply"?

Hey all,

I received an email from "Buds Police Supply". They are offering a Military/LE discount on S&W M&P's. $399 plus 2 free mags! It's for the standard 4.25" barrel 9mm or .40. I have 3 guys at my club that want them and I said I'd buy them under my military ID so they get the discount.

I went on the website, and it is eerily similar to Buds Guns (www.budsgunshop.com (http://www.budsgunshop.com)). This made me wonder if it is a legit firearms distributor or some hacked up knock-off looking to rip you off.

Also...anyone shoot any of the M&P's? Any insights??

$399 isn't to wild for a 9/40 M&P. I've seen them a bunch of times go for 425 or so NIB locally.

Had a chance to hold one, play with the trigger, and it's a nice gun, but I mentioned before I'm more of a fan of the old SW metal frames. If I had some disposable income right now, I would consider adding it to my collection, but I would want a 45 though.

Can't give you any input on the retailer, other than to do a little detective work out on the net.

I would call Bud's and ask if they are affiliated. Could be the LE/Mil discount site for Bud's.

I've dealt with Bud's in the past on some small stuff, had exactly zero problems. Quick ship, good communications and decent prices.

If BPS isn't affiliated, you can bet Bud's has probably heard about em

I know buds offers discounts to Mil/LE so it could be them. I got a Henry Golden Boy from them with 0 problems!
