Had a great time with BoltNut this past weekend out at the Sporting Clay course.

I ganked this picture from the 870 review post:

I noticed I did much better with the modified choke as opposed to the FULL choke that I had been using.

One thing that was fun that I'd never done before was to throw my own clays then shoot them. I sat the controller on the ground. I hit the button with my foot and then blasted the clay bird. It took a bit more practice as the timing was different. Kinda like driving a stick shift. (No pics please. ;) )

I also got a few report pairs while we were out there. Good times.

I don't know if BoltNut will post them, but I took some good shots of him with his camera. You can see the ejected shell flying through the air, he's already back on target with the bolt closed ready for the second shot. Good technique.

You can barely see the clay getting around the trees on the right before dusting.

There's one with the ejected shell just above my elbow. The clay is climbing over that bush out in the field. I happened to hit it with the second shot, but obviously, I missed #1... :(. What was encouraging is seeing that I was ejected, still tracking on target, head down on stock, etc. :yesnod:

Here's another spent shell flying right towards the garbage can where it belongs! :) Again, I like the fact I was back on track and sticking with it after the first shot. I was stunned to see Creo get those shells in the action frames! :yesnod:

Creo, are you sure you don't want your shots posted? I don't think any of them show your face well enough to be I.D.'d. They're good photos! Your call... :)

Thanks for posting those. Let's hold off with the pics of me.

Why you surprised I got you in action like that? You know I gots mad skillz at shooting stuff (pictures, hoops, guns, etc.) :)

That last stand is where you got your true pair.
