I recently got bit by the single action bug and bought a Ruger "new" Blackhawk convertable- .357/ 9mm. I picked it up from a guy I work with for $300. only thing I don't like are the grips- he replaced the factory grips with Hogue (oversize rubber finger grove) grips. where can I get some good wooden or sim ivory for a frame xrn-3red?

Single action revolvers are awesome. Like you I do not like the factory grips. They just plain do not fit my large hands. Although I have not stooped low enough to put some rubber grips on my iron though.

Get some nice wood Hogues or something. They make some really nice finger grooved and non finger grooved wood grips, with and without stripes. I personally can't stand a Bisley style grip so I would have to ditch the stockers for something a little more meaty.

Brass Nazi, you had to bring in the hot photos to sway him, didn't you?

The webpage says that she includes a personal letter with each set of grips. I wonder if she puts lipstick and perfume on the paper?

She's got some nice grips. I keep toying with getting some new grips for my Rugers and Kimber. I'll add this to my favorites to keep looking.

Good thing she don't make grips for L frame's or we woulden't have any food in the house this week.
