Hi,

Bullet is Winchester 125gr JHP's I picked up at tjconevera's when he had them for a good price. I don't even remember where I got the win nickel 1F, but it sure looks pretty cleaned up with slick's wet ceramic cleanin' solution.

Planning to shoot some of them soon! I've been neglecting my j-frame practice, but no more!

I was kinda thinking the same thing. I practice with plated bullets. :(

Nice pile a fun for a afternoon ;)

I don't shoot silvertips only because of cost, but, they sure do bring out da bling when ya stack a wad of em together.

You could make them into some Bling' for 'Slick to Sport After Church. (Or During Church in some Cases)

Nice Use of CCI Primers,Good attention to Detail.

I Like Stomping on Jacketed 125's with 21.5gr of H110 in my Magnum.

The load I'm using for this is:

.357 Winchester JHP 125gr
VihtaVuori n320 4.8gr
38spl Winchester Nickel (1F)
SP CCI 500
OAL cannelure

Last time I chrono'd these they were running 864 fps avg, 12 sd, 36 es (n=5) out of my gp100. They run about 800 fps avg out of my 442 snub.

My snub carry load is Speer 135gr GDHP, VV n340 6.0gr, Starline Nickel (New), SP CCI 500, OAL cannelure. This load runs about 875-900 fps avg out of my 442.

I will admit I do like ammo to look blingy, something about shiny ammo does it for me!

I've still got to work up some 357 loads. I've got cases and bullets, but haven't had much time to work some up.
