I remember reading that somebody was looking for something to hold Lee turrets. Well I finally got tired of mine sitting on the bench so I made these and thought I would share. Everything is 3/8 pipe thread.

I don't see any sealant on those threads.

WestdammitVirginia pipe needs no stinking sealant. :confused:

Great idea. I don't know the cost but would PVC be CRB or is galvanized CRB.

I didn't see those fittings in plastic. The flange is galv the rest of the pieces are just black pipe fittings, they didn't have the galv either. The next step up were all brass fittings and I thought about it for the bling factor but thought it might make me lose my CRB card. I spent around the same as the red metal stand I saw in a different post and these keep the turrets off the bench and free up some space.

I use the plastic cases that come with the lee dies. I have seperate powder measures on each so I stand them up in the top part of the plastic case.

They don't make a square top plug in PVC or CPVC that Ive ever seen. Only round caps, and round plugs for PEX.
I'd also be concerned with plastics ability to support the weight long term.

Not to steal rusty's thunder here, but here's my answer to the confusion I used to have on my bench;

http://photos.imageevent.com/jptowns/arrow/websize/P2150128.JPG

While it doesn't get them up off the bench, the footprint is much smaller. It could be put on a shelf as well. I simply traced the pattern of one spare turre(n)t on the board, then used a spade type wood drill to make 7/8 holes to receive any dies that protrude through the bottom of the turrets. Scrap lumber, some monkey glue and 4 wood screws, and some wood shavings to sweep up.
