Hi Everyone,
I had my Gallbladder taken out about 7 weeks ago and thought things were in good shape, but it turns out I still have some gallstones in the tube that connects my liver to small intestine. I'm feeling pretty awful today. I'm having surgery tomorrow morning and they are going to put a scope down my throat and try to pull out all the gallstones and blockages. Please pray for me to have a good surgery and quick recovery...
Thanks,
Alan

Alan - I've never been there, but had a buddy go through it. He survived, but his description of the, um, discomfort, was scary. Get better quick!

Great news, Alan! It's amazing how much better you feel and function when they get the stuff out that's blocking up the works.

Good to hear it went smooth for you Alan. Now let your body heal itself, and take it easy.
A few of us have been through surgery in the past few months, and nothing beats these guys when comes to support & REAL friendship. It helped in my case so much before & after I couldn't put it in words. I still can't!
OK Alan now just take it easy and keep your movements in check, and check your temperatures, & BP often for any signs of infections in these first few days afterwards- OK...
Best wishes...

I haven't had surgery in over 20 years, but what ronterry just wrote sounds like really good advice to me.
Thanks for including us while you are going thru this. :)
