I've got two EAA Witnesses, both 10mm, one's the compact with Wonderfinish and the other's the full-size blued. I want to put a suppressor on them (one or both). Has anybody had any experience with this?
EAA sells the threaded barrels, but I read somewhere that it's got oddball threads.

I also believe EAA sells 6" hunting barrels for the fullsize frames. I would pick one of those up and have it threaded to fit whatever supressor you want.
Damn.. a supressed 10mm. Now you got me thinking. :toetap05:

I'm just thinking 10mm would be the best for my first suppressor because I've got 3 10mms (2 Witnesses, so 1 barrel would fit them both; then the Glock 29, which may or may not be easy to find a longer/threaded barrel for) and a .40 S&W (Glock 22, which should be fairly easy to find a barrel for).
only problem is you need to have the 10 downloaded to 40 short/weak ballistics to allow the suppressor to work properly

They suppress .308 so it could be done but by the time you got it subsonic it might not be worth the expense .

I like shooting 10mm because it's 10mm, not .40 S&W. Oh, well. More money for other stupid stuff I don't need. Haha.

That "change-out top-end" capability of the EAA Witness is kinda cool in and of itself. My usual shooting buddy bought a Witness in 38 Super some years back, and that pistol is just lights-out accurate. He ordered a 45 ACP top end and magazines for it, and it ran very well--but the barrel was poorly finished, and he returned it for exchange due to accuracy issues. The 2nd 45 barrel does All The Right Things, and the accuracy of the 45 almost equals the 38 Super now.

I plan to get a conversion kit in .38 Super eventually, just so I'll have an excuse to load for another caliber.
