Does anyone have a line on some 9mm moonclips for use in a S&W 940?

You can buy them from S&W but they are kinda proud of them. I know that there are many places that make .45 acp moonclips but I do not see many places that offer them for the J.

have you checked ranch? there's a thread on Brians Forum in the revolver section about GAP in a 625 and several posters mention clip makers.

there's an insurance salesman out west somewhere that only shoot GAP.

give ranch a call and see what they have, not what midway has in their catalog.

I had a 940 about 2-3 yrs ago, until a gent offered me an obscene amount of money for it. Used the Ranch "moonies" in it,excellent.
Lots of old time cops like them, as they get 9mm ammo for free & they all trust a "J".
I shot mine with IL State Police 9mm +P+ ammo a few times, impressive.
Cross a Chi-hua-hua with a Bull Mastif & you've about got it.
Still didn't feel as bad to shoot as my old .380 Grendel !
