Will they stay on? I am looking for a set to fit my GLK 27. Are there ones that are better?

IMO, Pearce are great. I have the +1 27/33's on my G27 and they have not had a problem yet.

They have the same checkering as the Glock grip.

I have both the +2 extension and just the extension for my G23 and like them alot. One day I'll install them on all my spare mags!

I like the scherer +0, but the pierce ones work well too.

I know several that shoot compacts and sub compact Glocks in competitions with mag extensions.

I've seen more stock base plates fail than I have those.

Go for it!!!

surely there ARE more stock base plates - ergo - more to fail?!?

Pierce mag extensions are junk. I've had +2 baseplates on my Glock mags and once I was changing magazines to do a tac reload and the mag slipped and fell to the ground and hit a rock. The pierce base plate cracked and the magazine spring threw the spring, base plate and mag chute in all different directions... including the ammo.

I lost the use of the mag entirely. due to lost parts.

The Taylor Freelance poduct however is everything the Pierce baseplates claim to be but Taylor Freelance actually delivers on their claims.

Well, the law of averages will say you're correct.

But, the number of people I see pass before me three times a month that shoot their carry guns is astonishing. I've never seen a mag extension base plate fail. I've seen at least a dozen stock plates fail.
