Tuesdays are Bullseye night at my club which shares it's range with a few LE depts. Got there early today and found the firing lines littered with 12 gauge, LC .223, and FC 9mm. All said and done I picked up 185 pieces of .223 and 330 pieces of 9mm. Still more out there that I'll get to tomorrow. Me happy.

Yea there was some dude on the rifle range where I shoot the other day. Heard him popping off some rounds, then leave. I go check it out being the concerned CRB and all, about 100 rounds of remington 223 brass, brand spankin new (once fired is new right??) , laying everywhere.
I thought, WOW, Im glad everyone hasnt heard of reloading yet.....

Once fired is gooder than new in my book.
If there's something wrong with the brass, it happened in someone else's gun, not mine !

You need a push broom and a very large dust pan.

Oh man, you don't even have to dig them out of the scrub grass, gravel, mud, or Snow?
You got it easy.

That was my first thought when I saw the picture. Five minutes with a broom and box/pan/something_flat and all that brass is in the trunk.

It looks pretty defective to me. I'm pretty sure it might be. Yup.
Might actually be dangerous to reload.
I'll examine all you send me and give a report.

Good! Now, of course, you realize that you have to share it with all of us that convinced you to go get the rest of the brass... :43:

Fortunately I can claim the idea as my own - see start of thread.... :)
I'll see what I got for trade\donation when I gets it all sorted....

I ended up with a gallon ziplock bag stuffed wif .223 and da same with 9mm - around 12 pounds each.
Found quite a bit of PMC .223 brass mixed in - but dat don't bother me a whole lot, never had a problem with it before.
If anybody need some of it - jes let me know. I trade ya for other components or make emergency donation if need be.
