Hay guys i just got a Mosberg 22 with a bull barrel.It says MOD 144 lsb.
Can anyone tell me anything about it?.Its a little beat up but the bore is very good and the bolt works fine.I need a clip for it,or two.Thanks for any info.pan.:patriot:

Run some target ammo thru it and it will probably be as accurate as anything. Them old Mossbergs were supposed to be good shooters.

I used to have a Model 35 that shot really good

Thanks a bunch guys,for all your help.
I cleaned her up and shot some Rem.bulk ammo and believe me this rifle can flat out SHOOT!!.I sighted it in at 35yds and i shot one hole groups-3-pluss a flyier.Got boring,sooo i shot at 75 and 3/4" was the norme.A lot of the flyiers was due to the ammo,im sure.A lot of the rounds sounded light,or,a very sharp bark.Real happy with this one.pan.:patriot:

I have a coworker who just bought his second moss 22. Says those things are awesome.

He's had offers to buy his while at the range. RO said he had one for each kid (2 or 3, I don't remember) and was looking to get another.

Jawjaboy,thanks,its just what i was lookin for.
AdamN,yep i plan on doing so as soon as i can.I sure like squarell huntin.The only draw back is its a real heavy rifle,15/16"barell:yikes:.But i just will have to buck it up.Creophus i had a few Mossberg rifles in my younger years and all of them shot well.If you get the chance,pick one up,youll be suprised.pan.:patriot:
