I was over at a friend's house today learning how to load on his progressive RCBS system. Anyway, he had made a neat bullet feeder that fed a bullet into his system automaticcally mountiing it onto a case.

Is this not a standard feature on modern progressive reloaders? It seems like it would be a pain to put that bullet onto the case every time by hand.

Bullet feeders aren't standard equipment. Good bullet feeders are rather expensive and can end up costing more than the rest of the press several times over. (My definition of "good" is one that includes a collator so that all the reloader has to do is dump a pile of bullets into it and doesn't drop a bullet when there is no case present.)

I have the KISS bullet feeder and as said here above, quite expensive BUT doing the job as it should as per the above definition...
