A simple belt by the bed you can put on quickly over your pajamas or if you sleep nekkid? Bare Minimum: Holster for your weapon of choice, mag holders with mags, flashlight holder, ASP baton holder ,pepper spray, and a spot to clip your cell phone, possibly a knife and sheath? Any other suggestions?

I just rush out bare naked with my Glock. Either they get shot or fall over laughing.
Got the wifey to back me up. Bring the cell phone to the bedroom every night.

Bare Nekid?
Jeez, that's enough to scare anyone away.
Nope no belt, no vest, just a G-20.
Hey YOU!
Don't drop that TV, you just stand right there and don't move.
If you drop the TV I will shoot you.
If you set it down I will shoot you.
or
Get up to a lot of screaming.
The male Great Dane is big but the Doberman is a Bitch (literally and figuratively) "she be mean".
The dogs are my first line of defense.

I'd read of the vest a few years back.
A fellow took his soft body armor, loaded it with all the items you mention, and had occasion to use it one night.
The responding constabulary were impressed, commenting, "He's better equipped than we are!"

I picked up this for my Tactical needs. I have a CrossDraw Holster for proper ergonomics.

My belt is a modified climbing harness, with magnetized impact-resistant pouches and canisters attached to the belt at ergonomic points for ease of reach. It carries a magnetic gas-powered grapple gun, an encrypted cell phone, batarangs, a medical kit, smoke bombs, mini explosives, periscope, remote control for the Batmobile, mini cam, money, and other unspecified equip.
Oh crap, I'm sorry I was thinking about my other belt. Yours is a good idea also.:yikes:

No belt needed, I sleep with m G27 duct taped to my back like McClain from "Die Hard". That area is a little raw.

If I ran out nude w/gun, ther'd be a jillion reports of "Bigfoot on the loose & he's armed"
I think my wife refers to my (nude) apperance as that of a "megyle sweater".
Now THAT'S a rude visual
A Go-Rilla with a Glock perhaps ?

TTMN™ Robe
I've been experimenting with a used bulletproof vest, duct taping flak jackets to it to make a TTMN™ robe. Can't let them thuggettes see the camo thong us hefty security ganjas wear. I've found that taping the inner and outer seams works best. I am trying to find some camo duct tape but haven't found it yet. I may make my own by cutting pieces of different colors and patching it together.
The robe has pockets at waist level to keep Twinkies, Mars Bars, and Mountain Dew handy in case of a long siege. It has a rappelling rope that wraps around to hold the robe together (that thong thing you know). A pair of super nylon Uncle Mike holsters were custom made for .380 Glocks that go inside for the shoulder holster with the quadruple braided rappelling rope straps. Access hole via duct tape cutout.
Now that concealment is taken care of, a Rural King suspender sling is used to keep a custom modified, spring powered. single shot, .22 rimfire semi-assault rifle near. This weapon is slung over the back so there is access to the energy replenishment. This armory is topped off with a pair of matched Baer Nighthawk Wilson BB pistols on the OWB crossdraw Laredo holster I bought in Harlem while assessing security for Hillary (those other guys didn't like me following Chelsea though). Bad juju there.
I attach a pair of Ray-O-Vac flashlights to the sleeves with some old triple braided underwear waist bands. Got to keep the cost down. I have a tactical lampshade with eye cutouts and sniping moon glasses to protect identity. The lampshade is made with Tyvek, a super duper barrier technology that helps slow bullets before they hit your skull and allow you to catch them for casting the .380 bullets in the sandbox. I don't trust those Chinese ammo makers. On top of the lampshade is a night vision light that lets you see everything but no one can see you. This is powered by an electrical cord that serves a dual purpose with a nightstand light.
I've substituted crushed red and black pepper for Mace. I find eyes don't water as bad. The pepper powder mixture is kept in a plastic bag attached to the concealed garrote that is under the inside of the collar. Sharpened butter knives are attached inside the forearm sleeves. They can be thrown or they slide right into your palm for blade fighting.
I'm thinking of patenting the TTMN™ for the Tactical Tommy and the Mall Ninja market. I'm thinking I can sell enough of these to buy a high powered sling shot to my neat balls up. Think Freakshow will let me sell these through his website once I get the factory put up in the backyard. I do need an investor or 4 to help with the liability bond I need. Any takers?

I use a converted beanie that my dad gave me to mount twin Surefires.
That way, by tipping my head, I can spin a very bright, dual beam of light 360 degrees around me to spotlight the bad guys. :sniper:

If somebody wanted to create a midnight gunbelt it would be fairly cheap to do. Order everything in nylon from Gall's or GT's and set it up with a pair of suspenders. Then it wouldn't matter if you had on your britches.

And with practice, I can get that sucker doing 30 rpm, which gives the cops a blinking beacon to home in on.
