I want (like everyone else) some 308 Sierra Matchkings and some sort of 223 bullet.

Any sources?

Don't know how I'd get a dealer discount. What about for a normal joe?

Do you have a C&R FFL?

If not, try Adam at Freakshow Bullets, he get a discount and should be able to pass some saving on to you.

No, I don't have an FFL. I'll think about asking FS, but I know he's in the business to make money, so we'll see how that goes.

Isn't there an equivalent to Precision Delta for bullets or is MidwayUSA the best thing going?

I've got nothing against Mway

Freak will beat all the mail order places, bar none.

Adam is not out to screw his neighbor. Have him quote what you want, and then price it against Midway, MidSouth, Grafs, etc, I bet his pricing is better than any of them.

Montanagoldbullet.com makes .223s, but they ain't match grade. tjconevera.com has some .223 Win bulks.

I haven't seen bulk .30 cal in a while, unless River Valley Ord still has some or Hi-techammo.com.

For pulls and surplus:

patsreloading.com
gibrass.com
hi-techammo.com

SMKs are going to have to come from a distributor, Midway, Grafs, etc.

Yes, I can get jacketed bullets. I don't mark them up. I charge cost plus shipping. If you want to put some extra money in my pocket that's cool. If not, no biggie.

Just some arbitrary numbers:

22cal 55gr FMJ

Armscor, Hornady $111.19-128.59 per 2K
Remington $139.03 per 2K in stock
Winchester $145.99 per 2K in stock

.224 SMKs in stock

69gr $16.59/100 $79.99/500
77gr $11.19/50 $92.99/500

.308 SMKs in stock

135gr $24.39/100 $116.99/500
150gr and 168gr $25.59/100 $122.99/500
175gr $26.99/100 $125.59
190gr $28.39/100 $135.99

I get charged 3% for credit card fees from Graf's and a $5 drop ship fee per order. So take the above prices, add 3%+$5 and whatever shipping is. I can have them ship in a USPS priority mail Flat Rate Box. They limit them to 60-65lbs, which at 180gr is 2527 bullets.

Just to clarify, those prices above are my actual cost. Graf's charges me 3% for placing an order with a credit or debit card, $5 to drop ship and I can have them ship to you in a flat rate box for $9 per 60 pounds. More than 60 will get you another $9 flat rate box.

Bottom line: take those prices above, multiply by 1.03, add 14 (shipping fees) and that's what it will take to make them show up on your doorstep.

I always send Grafs a MO, that CC thing does piss me off. Although, Grafs was good last time I ordered from them. I even had Grafs ship to a comm address in MI and they didn't charge me the $5, although since I spent a bunch that was the least they could do.

I talked with RVO "River Valley Ord" yesterday; she said that its not looking good. I have been waiting on another shipment for little over a month and she was calling to confirm my order will be shipped next week, She said that I would be one of the last people she will be able to send 308's too. she said that she was just fulfilling the last of the list. After that she dosent know what there going to do about 308's

BUT she does have 62 grn 223 bullets "pulled" for 45.00 a 1,000 and she claimed she had plenty in stock. I have used these over and over and they are great plinkers, and they arnt to shabby for critters either

Anyways just thought that I would give up some friendly advice. if you want to get in touch with them, CALL them and leave a message, she will get back to you but it takes a while. they have never done me wrong.

I shoot mostly 9mm 115gr/147gr, and some .38 spcl 125gr/158gr FMJ. Whatever the cheapest you could find. You already have .223 listed.

Dealers get charged $5/ order for Graf's to ship direct to my customers. If you as a consumer get it shipped to an address other than your billing address, you won't get charged a $5 fee. That's just for dealer dropships.

I'd like to send Graf's an MO but it's quicker with a CC for my customers, so I eat 3%.

Graf's has been nothing but stellar with me so I don't complain much about the 3% fee. Midway doesn't charge the 3% fee but they treat me like I just punched their mother.

Honestly, with the size of the order, $5 would have been nothing, but I would still have complained being a CRB.

I hope Grafs takes away Midways market share. They've treated me right.

Here are cheap rifle bullets. They are mostly made in Serbia as are the "mil spec" 168 grain match bullets. Their weight varies a bit more than the Sierra Match Kings and accuracy isn't quite as good but it's not terrible and I've used them on the shorter ranges. They have 175 grain FMJBT "sniper" bullets too. Lots of 223 bullets too.
