What Mods Have Ya' Done To Your Handgund and Long Arms?

I just got me a OD Green G-23 last week, and found that I needed to do myusual mods to it since it be a Glock. I put in a NY-1 trigger, did a .25 cent trigger jobber, and slapped on some nite sites and a clip draw from my G-27. I like the NY-trigger reset, G-compacts are a cinch to carry with a Clip draw, heated debate for some, but with a Safty-Blok thinga-ma-jig in it, it's safe, totes easy, and very-very adaptable. Not really a mod, but I chose the OD green cuz I've been known to make a mistake or 2 in me life and figured that I won't get it mixed up with my G-19. Oh yeah, on my G-22 and G35 I got rid of the finger grooves. Feels much better for me with out em'. Plus, I got's a LWD 9mm, 40 S&W, and 357 Sig barrels for my G-35 so's I get 2 more guns outta the G-35 platform. Seems my Glock collection is complete for awhile. I traded an Ruger 7mm Mag for it NIB, which I put a Timminy Trigger in and Fire lapped the barrel. I shot maybe twice in the last 8 years so, I don't feel bad about it. Probably get a Rem 700 with open sights on it to replace it.

Anyway, hopin' this could be one of them long and growin' threads to share ideas and such with. I gots lot more stuff I modified a little here and there but figured I'd start with Glocks since they so easily modifiable. :cornut:

In order to show that I bear no ill will or prejudice towards the Lee Boyz:grouphug:, I dura coated the slide on my 21 red. Took it out yesterday and bulged the barrel:banghead:. Powerful omen to my way of thinkin'.

In seriousness I've put One Ragged Hole Sights on my 4 5/8 Blackhawk and my 22/45 and my G 21. I've done trigger work on all my single actions. That's pretty much it.

hrrmmm........most of the work is done by myself...

triggers, stock work, action jobs, chamfer cylinders, mount sopes, change sights, tun magazines, tune springs to make reloads run better...

list really goes on, and the only time that i am ever truely "done" working on a gun is when i get rid of it.

That's certainly a good way of puttin' it. On my rifles, most mods are trigger stuff, and why I like Rem 700s so much, but I've also slicked up the triggers on my Mini-14 and Mini-30 with pretty decent results.:yesnod: They ain't tack drivers, but definately a lot better. I wanna get some Hogue stocks for them and I think I'll be happy with em' for a while.....maybe a folding stock to play around with.

On my Glock, i had night sights and ext mag and slide releases. Improved it alot for me. My Walthers are completely stock.
