I been using it in .223 with okay results most of my bigger groups are likely due to using mix brass. Was fiddlin' around with it in 30-06, but stopped in the middle of developing loads as work and pappy needs have kept me away from the bench for a few months now. What your general experience, opinion, or even "feeling" on BL-C(2)? I was planning on trying it out in 30-30 soon as I finnish up my ol' 3-4 month old 30-06 loads. Reason I ask is that I been gettin' 8lb jugs of powder these last few years and seem to stick with one powder for most (not all) handgun or long gun loading.

I don't know about the .30 calibers. I've have extensively used in .204 and .223.

Do you load in .223 for a bolt gun of semi auto? Or both?

I load it for an AR. I got rid of my .204 about a year ago, and had about 5 pounds of it left when I got the AR. Consequently, I decided to use it up, and have kept buying it.

Is it very dirty in them? I had some old Data Powder from the 90s' and that stuff would get my AR very dirty. Would still work though.

I guess that I don't have a comparison for dirty in an AR other than factory (which is also dirty). Anways, I always clean my guns after a trip.

BLC-2 is fantastic stuff - made for NATO rounds. Should work great in -06 and 30-30.

Love it in 5.56 & 55 grain in AR-15's.
Beat out W748 & H335/WC-844 in my testing. Runs at lower pressures than W748 & H335/WC-844.
I like it at 27.0 grains with 55 FMJ-BT.
