It took me forever to download it and watch it to its conclusion, and I am stunned that the assailant didn't suffer fatal injuries.

Thank God that the injured Deputy is expected to be Okay. The Piece of ##it suspect I don't give a damn about.

Yup.

It seems he stopped firing early at the dirt bag . Maybe wounded & fading - Keeping it fair on the video ?

Shoulda been on the second mag - second gun - 870 buck . If I was fading ,,,, all's fair ,,,, just me .
Don't want to be finished off as I pass out .

I wonder how much road rash the guy who bailed out of the back seat at 94 mph ended up with.

My first guess is "not enough."

He stirred up some dust or something skidding and tumbling along. Might have been the 90mph wind blowing his bladder and bowels up around him.

I fell outta da back a my grandpa's pickup when I was a kid while going across a field ta feed some hogs. Couldn't have been going more than 15 mph at the most.

Trust me when I tell ya hittin da moving ground hurts like can't adequately be described. Doing so at 90 mph an living thru it is a bonafide miracle.

I've dropped a street bike over the years, but that's still hella different from just dumping out on the pavement, plus, I was wearing robocop protective gear an good boots. I hurt for 3-4 weeks from dat.

Hittin raw pavement, if the blow doesn't kill ya straight off, the road rash a make ya wish it had.

I slid out the driver's side of a 1970 Hornet at around 60mph across a highway after getting t-boned in the driver's side rear panel. I was spinning down the road. Got some serious road rash. What made it particularly painful was when the gas tank broke and bathed me with a few gallons of gasoline.

Ahh the days before seatbelt use. I miss the ever so frequent vehicle ejections.

Seatbelts were available just not mandatory.
