4.3 and a 200 gr. moly bullet, off the top of my head OAL is 1.250". very soft and very accurate. it's been 100% reliable in my g30 but it's right at the edge of not being reliable. i have to make sure the bullets are seated to the correct depth. if the bullet is short it'll not make enough pressure to operate the slide and i can't, or don't, top off my mags.

4.6g wst with 185g nosler jhp @1.21, ez plinker @ 800fps, cycles mac10, kimber and g30 no problem.

Liked it enough to do a modest run of them:

WST has one great advantage over 231 - it's quite a bit cleaner burning. You'll also use a bit less powder but not enough to make a dramatic difference in your pocketbook. It's all I use in my run-of-the-mill 9mm, .40, and .45ACP loadings these days.

.45ACP:

200grn. LSWC 5.0grns. WST
230grn. LRN 4.5grns. WST

The 200grn. load is a particular favorite as it shoots flat out to the 50 yard mark and is superbly accurate. I've gone as low as 4.0grns. with the same bullet and maintained 100% functioning/accuracy through a variety of 1911s.

4 gr. and a 200 swc will give you about 700 to 725 fps from a 5" barrel. Works well with a lighter recoil spring and will function most standard springs.

I really like WST in the .45. It is clean and meters well.

I use 4.5 with either a 230 LRN or 230 CMJ with the CMJ it is super clean almost like you won't need to tumble:).

Tried different loads ranging from 4.1gr-4.9gr of WST with a WIN 230gr fmj. My Glock 21SF liked 4.3-4.5 the best. 4.3 was the most accurate, but with 4.5 I got in a hurry and didn't take my time...think if I took my time on the 4.5 I woulda been just as accurate or more. Only had 10 rds loaded for each batch...so far so good. Was definately less smokey than Win 231...and my gun is not as dirty as it would have been with 231.
