Here is place that you can get turret storage for those the Lee Classic Turret with multiple calibers. Yammer has seen the couple that I have, and he can vouch for them as well.

Or you could make one like this;

If I get more turrets, I'll make another one.

Minor thread diversion.

I would like something like for a Dillon SD. Right now I'm using presses.

I know Dillon has a toolhead stand for the 550/650, but I'm not sure about the SDB. I wonder if Snuffy's idea would work for the SDB?

The problem is that when you take it out you have some small loose parts and the base is too light to hold a powder measure. I hate doing it but right now I just stuff the die and parts in a sandwich bag.

I did some searching, and couldn't come up with any ideas for toolhead storage. Maybe one of the other guys has an idea?

Is the piece of wood they are sitting on Flat or is there holes cut so you can keep the dies in their positions?

I assumed that there were holes drilled to keep the dies in place, but only Snuffy can answer that for sure.

There has to be holes. If there were no holes, the turrets would not sit flat because the dies stick out underneath.

Yep.

Not if the dies are unscrewed so they are flush with or slightly above the bottom of the holes in the turret. The turret would then lay on a flat surface w/o any problems however you would have to readjust the dies each time. That is why I was curious about the holes.

That would be a huge pain in the butt. Might as well only have one turret and take the dies out every time instead of buying a turret for each caliber. I am so lazy that I gave away my 38 spl brass because I did not want to adjust the dies between 38 and 357, and I didn;t want to get another set of dies.

I have always been fond of this idea when you've posted pics on other forums... Can you advise what parts you get to do that?

+1. I can tell what most of em are but curious as to what is on the underside of the turret holding it.

I turn them upside-down and put them back in the original container for dies. The cap goes over the top to protect them from dust, but doesn't quite fit all the way.

+1. That is what I do with all the die sets that came with round cases.

All the new die sets I have purchased have Square flat cases though....
