I hate when I got to the range and forget to bring mags for a particular gun that I want to shoot. That happened to me just yesterday.
This ever happen to anyone else?

I forgot targets the other day - at least you can buy them at the range even if they are pricey.

I worry about going to the range and forgetting a gun while I'm there. I usually take about 6 handguns...

I went to the range with 45 ammo and a 9mm pistol.
Did that last Saturday, had to borrow a pistol from a shooting buddy.
I often forget a stapler. I used to keep some thumb tacks in my bag but I found out on my last trip that I must have taken them out.
Thanks for the reminder, I'm off to find them.............

i have made 2 special trips to the range with the same buddy. both times we drove about 1/2 hour away. he wanted to try out what i had for pistols as he was in the market for 1. i went and left the damned pistols bagged up at home.....realized it after we showed up and loaded magazines
i always try to double check my range bags now

I haven't forgotten anything before. I have a large plastic toolbox that holds everything that isn't a gun or round...ears, eyes, targets, staple gun, clearing rod, cleaning gear, etc. Maybe it is because I triple check since the range is about 45 minutes each way.

I have a friend that has two p99's, one in 9mm and one in 40. He didn't know the mags were interchangeable and put a mag loaded with 9mm in the 40. Fired the first round and it wouldn't cycle. When he finally got the case ejected and I saw it I started laughing. He looked at me strange cause he didn't know what happened. When I explained it to him he freaked. That's the only time I have seen that happen.

I'm older than most of the members of this forum, so memory issues are all about me.
I started keeping lists to tickle my memory a long time ago.
I keep a specific list of the things I want to take with me to the range. I simply consult that list and now never leave what I need at home.
And yes...sadly...at the top of the list is 'gun'.

You a wise one Bro R. Been using lists fer a spell myself.

At various times, I've gotten to the range and discovered that I've forgotten magazines, ammo, holster, ear protection and other things.
Last Saturday, one of my range buddies had to go back home for his Glock.
I usually remember the gun.

I DO have two -- I must have mis-typed my signature line! Thanks for calling it to my attention, BP.
Steve's been begging me for one, but I'm not interested in selling -- especially at the price he's offering! :dita:

I left a box of 50 Winchester Rangers on the rail of my truck bed while loading up at home. Couldn't find them when I got to the range; thought I forgot them when I was collecting everything to go in the range. Leaving the range, I looked in the bed and there they were. Whew!

CRS? Wow, JJB, you are really taking me back to my roots. I'm not really a country boy myself, but everyone in my family is "straight from the Georgia woods".
I do suppose I have it! The problem is I thought the 45 mags were the hipoint mags, both single stack, so I didn't look very closely.
I don't trust it without loading it from a mag, so I chose not to shoot it. I saved some rounds for it though, so perhaps I'll try it again real soon.
