I need to pickup a general use 45 mold. Right now I've narrowed it down to a 6Cav LEE 230 RN or the LEE 6Cav 225 TC. Is there any benefit/downside to the truncated cone bullet design that I should be aware of?

Thanks!

Ive had acceptable results with both, flip a coin....

I like the single lube groove of the TC bullet, Ive tried to get all my 45 bullets to have a single lube groove since I got the Star, they all lube the same with no changes

Yes, multiple lube groove handgun bullets SUCK! I ran several thousand 45 TC through my pair of SIGs, no problems to report. I traded the mould off to BGGB a while back when I got out of Al moulds.

Thanks! I'm probably going to pick up the TC mold.
