I like separating brass by hand. It is very therapeutic for me. I have head of some using them and liking them very much though.

A friend of mine has one. Let me use it once.
I liked the way it worked for the most part, but getting the .38 brqass out was a pain in the ass.
My friend said once I get enough brass together he'd let me borrow it again. Good thing, cuz I have about 3 gallons ready to sort.
I used to do it by hand while watching TV, but I think I won't be doing that anymore.

I have one, it works great. You can really rip through a 5Gal bucket of mixed brass. Like Bogey said, the 38s are a bit of a pain.

Love my set too.
Works great.
I like how it seperates the rimmed brass seperately. I put the revolver brass in a special bucket.
I would buy another set if I lost mine.

I sort as I pick up.

I sort as I pick up.
I am too busy greedily scarfing anything on the ground that's not a rock or a turd to stop and sort.

some of you guys actually enjoy separating brass? I absolutely hate it. It takes away from my reloading time!
Like others, I separate into different bags as I pick up.

It works great. Wish they came out with it a long time ago.
I kinda enjoy separating. I further separate the stuff I use by head stamp. It gives me a chance to inspect each & every case thoroughly. I think I'll tire of the practice eventually. But for now, I'm so new to reloading that I'm being super extra carefull, dotting ever T & crossing every i, & then going back to double charge.

I would buy another set if I lost mine.Isn't it as big as a house? How would you ever lose it, like in a poker match?

they work well - almost $40 seems a lot of money though... I haven't had enough use out of mine to recoup the value - and .38 sneaks through into my 9mm ALL the time.
