Took a little detour on a road trip this last weekend.....to Cabelas.:D I needed some .45ACP dies anyway. I was quite surprised by the amount of powder they had....all flippin kinds, too. But what really got me was the two dozen one pound bottles of Varget.:yikes: I haven't seen that much in one spot in a very, very long time. No big bottles, but lots of little guys. Too bad I was very short of funds. :( I could use about 4 pounds or so. They even had several thousand primers out, too. They seemed to be pretty well stocked on most everything, even .22lr which has been hard to scare up anywhere. They had more CCI and Wolf .22 than anything else. Betcha there was around 30k rounds of .223 on the floor too. While I don't think these shortages are over by any means, but it is nice to see stocked shelves now and again.:yesnod:

I've never seen Wolf .22LR on retail shelves. It's really good ammo, made by SK Jagd in Germany.

Like you, I would have looked but funds would prevent me from buying much of anything. Besides, I still have an unopened 8-lb jug of Varget and now have plenty of bullets (thanks to some really generous friends :) plus some good trades).

Several years ago a store near me stocked up on Wolf 22 and no-one was buying it. When then had it at 50% off I bought all they had left ( I think it was about 15 bricks)

All gone now ;(

Wolf 22 was good stuff. Only place I've seen it late is Gander Mtn. at $40 and change a brick or something like that.

I would expect to see powder in 1 lb cans first, since the most markup is by the lb.

Wolf 22 kicks ass, great in my CZ 22!

Varget in 1lb cans has popped up around here, but not bigger cans...

I looked online yesterday and no one save one place had any Varget at all. I looked at so many, I forgot who it was...DOH! They had Benchmark and Titegroup as well. Now I have to do it all again.
