Hay guys.A fiend of mine passed away:( and his wife called and said she has a half full keg of green dot thati can have,for zip!!!:grn: 8 LBS.I know that it is used for shot shells,but,what else do youse use it for??.I load for long and short guns.Can it be used for anything or would it be better off geting it and dumpin it,??.I dont want to hert her feelings,and not take it.The short guns are 38-357,41 mag,40 s&w,9mm.Whats your openions??.He was very safty minded,and im 100% sure its all GD.Ill still cheak it out[cant be to sure:yikes:].As always,thanks for all info.pan.:patriot::)

Thanks Fat daddy.Yea,iv lost a bunch of good friends in the last 10 yrs or so.Gettin old is NOT all its cracked up to be.:(.

I used it in 45acp a few years ago. I remember liking it. Uncle Don used to use it almost exclusively for his 45acp fodder.

It works great with Berrys 230-gr and 230-gr swaged in 45Auto.

Use to load shotshells with GD. Great for tight patterns at long range. Just for kicks tried it in a .45 auto once. Shot well but very dirty. Uploaded/downloaded it didn't make any difference, a lot of residue after firing. Of course, it performs the same way in shotshells - dirty burning anyway you cut it.
